Frequency selection
The choice of a chip is determined not only by the material of its manufacture, but also by the reading frequency. For the simplest access control systems, identifiers with low-frequency readers (125 kHz) are suitable. These include EM-Marine EM4100, Temic T5557 Atmel.
For a more reliable access control system, we suggest using high-frequency RFID identifiers operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz:
- MIFARE Classic 1k (4/7 byte UID)
- SMARTTAG 1k (4/7 byte UID)
- MIFARE ID (4 byte nUID)
- MIFARE Ultralight EV1
- NFC NTAG 213/215/216
- ICODE SLIX 2
- MIFARE Plus S 4k (4/7 byte UID)
- MIFARE DESFire EV3
- MIFARE Classic EV1 (4/7 byte UID)
- SMARTTAG 4k (4 byte UID)
- MIFARE Ultralight C
- MIFARE Plus SE 1k (4/7 byte UID)
- ICODE SLIX
- MIFARE Plus X 2k (4/7 byte UID)
- MIFARE DESFire Light
Our RFID wristbands can also be used in combination with dual RFID readers.
